Regenerative Hospitality Collective

We are an open collective of leaders committed to regeneration and hospitality, joining forces to accelerate the sector transition into a net-positive force for good

Why?

Hospitality accounts for 10% of global GDP and employs more than 348 million citizens worldwide. While creating economic value in GDP terms, the sector greatly accelerates climate breakdown and social inequalities.

Operating at the nexus of multiple fields such as well-being, food systems, and mobility, the hospitality sector can spearhead the much-needed transition from mere sustainability to regenerative and equitable practices.

Community of Practice

We gather practitioners, thought leaders, and experts wanting to help one another to drive the hospitality industry towards regenerative and equitable practices.

Through our collective, we invite you to participate in:

  • Share & learn sessions: opening up about challenges and learning from peers.
  • Self-assessment orienteering: analysing your business impacts and improving your value proposition.
  • Transformation pathways: co-creating solutions to overcome risks and become future-fit.

What's in it for you?

By joining the collective, you can have access to:

  • Best practices from regenerative hospitality practitioners,

  • Tools and methodologies to assess the systemic effect of your activity in line with ESG standards and the Sustainable Development Goals,

  • Tailored expertise to take the next steps towards a regenerative practice.

Topics include: designing a regenerative strategy, building local ecosystems and cross-sector partnerships, regenerative marketing and storytelling, piloting regenerative living labs to test new initiatives within existing brands, measuring the systemic effect of regenerative hospitality, and curating transformative experiences for guests.

The Manifesto

We live in an overshoot world, with planetary and social systems being under mounting stress. Six of nine planetary boundaries have been crossed, pushing life on Earth and our humanity toward irreversible tipping points. At the same time, communities face growing pressures: loss of essential services, cultural erosion, and economic displacement, all intensified by climate change, rising social inequalities, and forced migration.

In this context, conventional sustainability practices that focused on minimizing harm and sustaining profitability are no longer enough. Hospitality, as a nexus sector deeply interconnected with others ranging from food to real estate, energy, water, waste management, education, health and culture, has a key role to play towards a regenerative world. However, the industry is struggling to put in place common and ambitious standards for impact.

Now, Regenerative hospitality offers a necessary and transformative path for committed leaders to unite under net-positive principles towards a regenerative future.
